I love this little gadget! Now I can use my iPhone all day (and even into most of the next day), without having to recharge it. Those who own either the iPhone 3G or 3GS know that the battery runtime for either model is, well, LOUSY! Don’t get me wrong — the iPhone is amazing, awesome, outstanding, unparalleled, etc. — I mean, I use it for nearly everything I do, digitally speaking! But our good buddies at Apple still need to address the battery runtime issue. ENTER THE DEXIM: not only does it add hours and hours of battery runtime, it also seconds as a stand, and even as a dock, when you need to sync the iPhone with your computer. If you’re an owner of an iPhone, or if you know someone who owns one (and you really want to make their day), order one of these handy little gadgets, pronto!

I carry this foldable power dock with me as a backup when I’m away, so now I don’t even worry about the battery power running low on my iPhone anymore. It also makes for a nice docking stand for the iPhone. What would have made it even cooler would be to be able to fold it forward flush with the iPhone rather than currently half-flushed at about a 45 degree angle. But that’s not too big a deal. And now that I think about it, perhaps an adapter to allow plugging into a wall socket too. I use the adapter from my iPhone and connect it to the USB cord so that I recharge it from the wall when I’m at home. But all-in-all, it is a good product.

Use the Dexim DCA 132 Foldable Power Dock to get me through a busy day on Internet, Email and research. Especially when Settings are to ” Push ” Email data. Does the job quite well. Use dock feature at home to keep IPhone handy and viewable. Has not let me down on even busiest days. At first, did not find it easy to “hook up ” the Dexim device to the IPhone. Did not seem to line up easily with the IPhone “connector ” pin. Have learned to “snap ” the IPhone into the Dexim “tray ” first and then slowly push the IPhone into the connector pin until the connection is made. Like this product. Glad I chose it.

Great product, does what is says. Truns your iPhone into a flip phone when connected and talking. I would give it 5 stars but the only problem is that it cannot fold completely when using it as a spare battery with the iPhone. The pflip folds into small form factor on its own, but why carry two seperate units in your pocket, when you can use it together? For females it would be ok to put the pflip and the iPhone in your purse, but for guys and gals wanting to put both items in your jeans, forget about it. But if you are watching movies or listening to the iPod for a very long without wall power or while traveling, this is the prime accessory to get. Battery life if great, charging and syncing works flawlessly. I do like it when it stands, you can see clearly who is calling you or you can download the free pflip app through the apple application store and use it as a clock. I wish the pflip was able to fold completley closed into one single form factor when they are connected together – charging your iphone when it is in your pocket – then this would be the best power solution ever for the iPhone!

First, the Dexim DCA132 does exactly what it says it does. Battery life is extended. It’s small and it conveniently fits in my briefcase or pocket. The only issue I have is that when watching movies with the iPhone in the horizontal position, the ability to angle the screen, which is helpful in the vertical mode, disappears.
